Sharyn contacted me about having 5 faded photos restored. They were recent prints done in the last 10 years of family ancestors. Printed using the Fuji Pictrix printer, many of these types photos have severely faded within a short period of time.
Sharyn thought they were beyond help, but I was able to bring back nearly all the missing details, adding a sepia colour tone to give back that old aged look.

Troy Packer emailed me about having these two art works printed onto canvas. Situated in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, Troy is an up and coming artist. One of his works titled “Little Taniwhas” won first place in the Northland 2010 Yellow Art Awards and is now displayed on the Northland telephone directory. He also took out the national title in the same competition.
Troy was looking for a quality printer to do his work and was very happy with the final prints of these two works. More of his work can be seen on his website www.troypacker.co.nz

Ivan called in with this photo taken in the 70s in need of photo restoration. Typical of many photos taken in the 70s and 80s, the image has gotten a progressively worse red colour cast to it. Fortunately, there was enough remaining colour left to bring most of the colour back without spending a lot of labour on it.
Measuring approx 9 x 12cm the image was enlarged to 8 x 12 inch without losing any detail.

Paula contacted me about the restoration of this photo. It suffered badly from fungal growth over the photo. Luckily the important portion - the dog’s face was largely intact. All the damage was removed, with a dark background used to hide most of the damage. Usually photos this bad are beyond help, but in this case Paula was very happy with the end result.

Neil contacted me about making a panorama photo print for him. Using his small Canon IXUS compact camera he’d taken this photo on Ururupukaka Island in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. The photo printed to 900mm x 300mm and looked clear and sharp.

Michelle was recommended to come and see me about printing photos onto canvas. She’d had this wonderful photo montage prepared by a graphic designer whom then got Michelle to see me. It’s a series of pictures taken while on vacation in Cyprus and Serbia. We decided to slightly enlarge the canvas so it had a white border surrounding it.
Measuring 460mm x 365mm Michelle took advantage of my winter promotion special, and got it all done for an excellent price. The print came out looking wonderful and Michelle was thrilled with the result.

Paula came to see me about having four photos put onto canvas. They were photos taken of where she grew up on the Northland west coast at Omapere.
We disussed what sort of layout would look best, ending up with this simple but effective vertical canvas, with the photos printed in black and white. It measured 620mm x 250mm size and will be going overseas to her cousin as a gift. The photos consist of the Omapare destination, view from their bach, the bach itself and the family ancestral burial ground and home mountain behind.
